The Woodland Knoll fairy boy wears jean shorts and t-shirt and is traveling light with just the bare necessities to carry.  Even on his adventure he prefers to be barefoot which is characteristic of all fairies.  NOTE:  The Woodland Knoll fairies don't have painted eyes.
